and My Approach
WHAT I BELIEVE IN
We’re all on this spinning rock in space, searching for meaning in our own way. While no one has all the answers, I believe life’s deepest purpose lies in the connections we make with others and with ourselves. Through these connections, we discover resilience, strength, and a clearer understanding of who we are, what we want and ways to get there. I believe in the beauty of growth and the power of small, meaningful steps. Life doesn’t need to be perfect to be beautiful, and even in struggle, there is always room for hope, change, and discovery. Growth takes courage, but in a safe space and with a genuine deep connection with our selves, it becomes possible.

MY BACKROUND
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield in Thessaloniki, an experience that introduced me early on to a variety of cultural perspectives — something that continues to shape my approach to therapy.

I later completed a Master of Science in Health and Social Psychology at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where I currently live and work.

My journey into psychology began with a deep desire to better understand my own struggles and a curiosity about why people think, feel, and behave so differently from one another. Growing up, I was surrounded by psychology books at home, and as a teenager, I found myself immersed in them, fascinated by the complexity of the human mind.
What continues to inspire me in this work is the privilege of being invited into someone’s world — to witness their story, their pain, their strength. It’s an honor to sit with people in their most vulnerable moments and support them as they move from confusion and self-doubt toward clarity, self-awareness, and growth.

ABOUT ME

Since 2023, I’ve been enrolled in a four-year Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training program through the Greek Association of Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies. This program is accredited by the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) and follows high professional and ethical standards.

To further deepen my clinical skills, I’ve completed advanced courses through the Beck Institute, participated in workshops with Professor Paul Gilbert on Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and have continued developing my knowledge in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy through ongoing seminars and my training.
I’ve collaborated with the Institute Prolepsis, where I worked on a helpline for older adults experiencing loneliness — a powerful and humbling experience that taught me the value of simply being present and listening with compassion.
I’ve also a volunteer at @ease in Maastricht, offering a safe and open space for young people to talk freely about their thoughts and concerns.

Currently, I run my own private online practice, Prism Psychology, and collaborate with several therapy platforms, providing support to clients from around the world.
MY APPROACH
Human experiences are complex and multifaceted, and each person’s challenges require a personalized response. That’s why I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with complementary elements from Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Schema Therapy to provide the most effective support for you.

I see the work we do as a shared process, not me giving answers, but us making sense of things together. That means we’ll decide based on your needs what kind of structure works best, whether that’s shorter-term work focused on a particular issue or longer-term sessions that allow space for deeper exploration.
If you’re feeling unsure, that’s okay. Starting therapy is a big step, and it’s perfectly normal to have questions or mixed feelings. What matters is taking that step when you’re ready and knowing that you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
Working together with me, you will learn to recognize and understand your self-talk, the way you interpret and speak to yourself about challenges such as trauma, difficult relationships, or personal limitations. Together, we will explore whether certain struggles require action and change or whether acceptance and behavioral adjustments are the most effective way forward.

Therapy is also about breaking unhelpful cycles. We will examine what hasn’t worked for you in the past and identify thought patterns and behaviors that may be unintentionally holding you back. Instead of staying stuck in an exhausting fight with your past or emotions, we’ll focus on helping you develop psychological flexibility—the ability to adapt your thoughts and behaviors in ways that align with your values and goals.
